Intersections

This volume unites a group of papers originally presented at the 2003 meeting of the North American Society for Seventeenth- Century French Literature, organized around the theme of "Intersections." Designed to reflect current scholarly interest in crossing traditional borders associated with disciplines, genres, and topics, it features papers from a variety of scholarly perspectives. Among the intersections they explore are: sacred and profane, novel and theater, high and low culture, human and geographical space, print and performance, art and literature, and comedy and tragedy.
