The Language-in-Performance Series (LiP) deals with key topics within the main branches of linguistics. Investigations into all aspects of Language in Performance will be considered for publication (including monographs, collective volumes, anthologies) as long as they are corpus-based and undergo the test of usefulness for performance description. The most important fields are speech production and perception, language and (inter-)action; conversation, oral vs. written texts; language for special purposes; first, second, etc. language acquisition; language and teaching; translation.
